When I paid to subscribe, I thought it would be viewable offline like other e-journals. It looks like one either views it online in a browser or not at all or am I missing something? If it can't be read offline, I won't be paying for ScopeTrader in the future as this is a dealbreaker for me. I feel badly now that I paid $10. It's a nice e-journal and website, but only if one is heavily addicted to astrophotography, hardly anything here at all for visual observers. That's okay, everyone has their thing and AP is ScopeTrader's thing, to each their own. Good luck ScopeTrader, I wish you the best. If you decide to offer a real e-journal/e-magazine (as opposed to a pop-up web page that requires a browser and online access) and more stuff for visual observers, I think you will have a real winner. Without those though, you're limiting your audience. Many people will not want to pay for this without the ability to download and view offline. People like saving their journals/magazines so they can refer back to them later, it was why I paid for it. Please, put a warning on the subscribe/pay page letting potential subscribers know they can only read ScopeTrader in a browser and if they have Internet access as there's no option available to download or save it in any way and paying will not open this up as a value added feature. |

Thanks for your feedback—we truly appreciate it! First and foremost, we never want you to feel like your comments aren't valued or that your money isn’t supporting a worthwhile astronomy resource. If you’d like a full refund, please feel free to reach out to us directly, and we’ll take care of it. Regarding downloads, you can download the issues, but I admit the option is a bit buried. Right now, you need to open the issue to read it, and then within the viewer, there's a toolbar at the bottom where you can download, auto-flip, print, and more. I completely see how that could be frustrating—why load a flip viewer if you just want to download the file? To make this easier, I’m adding a more prominent download button directly to the website portal, and it will be available later this morning. Again, I really appreciate your feedback—it helps us improve! Rich Explorer of the cosmos, one photon at a time. There you go! I hope this makes it a bit easier to navigate. Keep me posted, we will probably keep improving on this to make sure getting the issues is slick and easy.
