![]() Joined 6/24/2024 Loc: Mo, USA | Posted 7/20/2025 4:38:40 PM CST Well, the rain finally packed up and left, and we’ve got clear skies again here in Missouri (for now) which, for us telescope folks, is always a win. But holy moly… the heat. We’re staring down the barrel of triple digits this week, and I’m pretty sure I started melting just walking to the mailbox. Honestly, thank goodness the stars we admire aren’t anywhere near us. If they were as close as this sun feels right now, we'd be puddles with eyepieces floating in us. Not that I’m complaining - I'll take a cloudless night any day
