Hi all,

I'm planning a stargazing trip soon and I'm looking for recommendations on the best locations to avoid light pollution. So far, I've heard great things about:

  • Cherry Springs State Park, Pennsylvania - Known for its incredibly dark skies and designated as a Gold Level International Dark Sky Park.
  • Big Bend National Park, Texas - Offers some of the darkest skies in the contiguous United States.
  • Great Basin National Park, Nevada - Another fantastic spot with minimal light pollution and stunning night skies.

Have any of you been to these places? What were your experiences like? Also, if you have other suggestions, please share! I'm always on the lookout for new dark sky locations to explore.
