Founded by YouTuber Dylan O’Donnell in 2017, Star Stuff offers a full day of space and astronomy presentations, followed by a gala dinner at the stunning Elements of Byron Resort in Byron Bay.

Your Space Ruler (Ticket)

Each ticket serves as both a laser-cut artwork for entry proof and a functional space ruler. Calibrate it using the Moon by holding the ticket in front of you to measure up to 4 degrees for visual distance estimation. The special gala dinner

Day & night telescope astronomy

While not the main focus of the event due to weather dependency, there’s a good chance to observe the Sun, nebulas, clusters, galaxies, and stars through telescopes. Scheduled around the new moon during the typically dry Milky Way season, volunteers from the Southern Astronomical Society will be on-site to share live views of the cosmos. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we'll host a movie and beer night after dinner!
