Serious astronomers already know what this is.

The TEC 180FL sits at the very top of the food chain when it comes to refractors. Yuri’s fluorite triplets are legendary for a reason, and getting one new today means waiting years. Opportunities to pick one up without the wait are extremely rare, and this one will not last long.

I’m only selling this scope to help fund other projects. Honestly, I do not want a telescope of this caliber sitting around unused when someone else could be out under the stars with it.

Included with the telescope:

• Original TEC hardshell case
• Original TEC rings
• Top handle
• Baader Planetarium 60mm Super Guide Scope / Finder
• Astro-Physics QuadTCC reducer

The optics are absolutely pristine. Star tests are exactly what you would expect from a TEC fluorite refractor. Contrast, color correction, and sharpness are simply world class.

Cosmetically, there are a few tiny dings on the OTA and one light scratch. I honestly do not know how they got there, but they are very minor and difficult to notice unless you go looking for them. Overall presentation is still excellent.

This telescope was previously sent directly to Yuri at TEC for cleaning, testing, and collimation by the prior owner, and it has been very well cared for throughout its life.

If you’re reading this ad, you already know what a TEC 180FL is capable of. The attached astrophoto examples speak for themselves. This is one of the finest visual and imaging refractors ever made.

No wait list. No uncertainty. No compromise.

Serious inquiries only.
