What others are saying about the MAKSYGO 60 Mini Maksutov Dobson Telescope
Markus Ludes praised the optical quality of the 60 mm Maksutov-Cassegrain, noting its ability to split the famous double star, Epsilon Lyra. He created a star test video demonstrating the telescope's outstanding spherical correction, comparable to those from well-known brands in the Maksutov industry. The telescope features a 0.965" rear port but comes with a hybrid 0.965"/1.25" star diagonal.
Ludes emphasized that this scope is more than just a toy. When fitted with Baader Astrosolar, it shows solar spots remarkably well. The focusing mechanism operates without any visible image shift, and the primary mirror has three collimation screws at the back. The provided eyepieces exceeded expectations with good eye relief, a wide field of view, edge-to-edge sharpness, and excellent contrast and sharpness on axis, rivaling eyepieces costing over $100. According to Ludes, this little Mak is the most perfect travel telescope.
