Exploring EAA astronomy, the future commercial release of the Astrowlbox will feature the Sony IMX283 sensor. Additionally, there is a free "do it yourself" version using the IMX477 sensor. A guide and resources, including information on necessary purchases, 3D printing files for the case, and a homemade program for easy EAA setup, have been shared on astro forums and the Astrowlbox website.

The Astrowlbox V2 features a 4" touch screen and the Sony IMX462 sensor. It includes an ST4 guiding port, which is currently hardware-ready and will be fully functional with a future software update. This new version is three times faster than the previous model, V1, due to the upgraded Raspberry Pi5. The future commercial release will use the Sony IMX283 sensor, with a free "do it yourself" version available using the IMX477 sensor.

The Astrowl Box is an all-in-one, ultra-portable system designed to provide easy access to faint celestial objects such as galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters, which are typically invisible to the naked eye. This device integrates seamlessly with telescopes and includes everything needed for observing, including a highly sensitive Sony IMX462 sensor and a Raspberry Pi5 for real-time image processing. The system features a 4-inch touchscreen for displaying celestial targets, and users can also view images on smartphones, tablets, or computers via the Astrowlbox user interface. The latest version, Astrowlbox V2, includes a hardware-ready ST4 guiding port for future software updates. It also supports various astronomy accessories through a T2 ring adapter. The Astrowlbox offers customizable imaging functionalities such as gain, exposure, urban filtering, and real-time astro post-processing options like contrast enhancement and wavelet sharpening. Additionally, it includes a feature for creating timelapse videos, useful for both solar observations and dynamic astronomy scenes.
