The 2-meter dome is the result of five years of development, aimed at creating a durable and cost-effective solution for both amateur and professional astronomers. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant aviation-grade aluminum and stainless steel, the dome is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including wind speeds up to 110 mph and snow loads of 16 lbs per square inch.
