John Miele

Aerospace Engineer

John Miele is an aerospace engineer residing in Madison, Alabama (latitude 34.7° N), and a member of the Von Braun Astronomical Society in Huntsville. His interest in astronomy began during his teenage years, and he became deeply involved in the hobby in the early 1990s. John enjoys visual astronomy, imaging, photometry, and amateur telescope making (ATM) activities. Over the years, he has built several telescopes and customized a wide range of equipment.
