BRESSER Messier 12" Dobsonian: Powerful and portable

The BRESSER Messier 12" Dobsonian enhances the popular telescope series, offering great portability with its lightweight fiberglass telescope tube.

Despite its affordability, this telescope delivers an impressive array of features and quality typically found in more expensive models. With a powerful 305 mm aperture, it offers significantly greater light-gathering capacity than smaller models, allowing you to explore beyond the moon and planets to observe globular clusters, nebulae, and galaxies with enhanced brightness. Details in most deep-sky objects become visible, with globular clusters resolved into individual stars and gas nebulae showing structure.

The telescope features a large Hexafoc focuser with a 65 mm aperture, eliminating obstruction from the focuser tube even with wide-field eyepieces. The large altitude wheels effortlessly support heavier eyepieces, and the tube can be balanced quickly by adjusting within the tube clamps, accommodating numerous accessories like a binocular attachment. The focuser's rigidity simplifies focusing, making it suitable for photography.

For astrophotography enthusiasts, the altitude wheels can be unscrewed, and the tube can be attached to an equatorial mount using a dovetail bar. An optional 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for precision demands. The use of the Hexafoc focuser in this device represents a significant advancement for this price range.

Ready for immediate use, the telescope includes a 6x30 finder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece. Various other viewfinders can be added using the two new hybrid viewfinder shoes (Art. 0620158) included as standard.

The BRESSER Messier 12" Dobsonian is designed for compact transport, with the rocker box easily dismantled into a flat package using metal quick-release connectors.

This telescope sets new standards in versatility, performance, and user-friendliness within its price class. It includes a high-quality objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits, making it a premium choice for both night and solar observation.

While "Newtonian" reflector telescopes excel in astronomical observations, they are not suited for daytime nature and landscape observations. For such purposes, BRESSER refracting telescopes are recommended.
