Imaging Newtonian OTAs from iOptron

The 150mm (approximately 6-inch) f/4 Newtonian OTA boasts a fast F/4 focal ratio, perfect for deep-sky imaging. It includes a dual-speed 2" Crayford-style focuser, which comes with a 1.5" adapter and is ready for the optional iOptron iEAF focuser. The OTA features a BK7 optical glass primary mirror with a protective quartz layer, ensuring excellent light transmission and durability. It also includes an 8x50 straight-through finder scope, dual split-hinged mounting rings, and an 8.7-inch Vixen-style dovetail plate for easy mounting. The package comes complete with a front dust cap, a 2" diameter 35mm extension tube, and weighs 9 pounds and 10 ounces. Its specifications include a clear aperture of 150mm, a focal length of 600mm, an OTA length of 22 inches, and an outside diameter of 7 inches. This model is available for a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $458.00.

Next in the lineup is the 200mm (approximately 8-inch) f/4 Newtonian OTA, designed with similar attributes for imaging deep-sky objects. This model features an 800mm focal length and a dual-speed 2" Crayford-style focuser, making it iEAF ready as well. The primary mirror is also constructed from BK7 optical glass with a protective quartz layer. The OTA includes an 8x50 finder scope, dual split-hinged mounting rings, and a 13-inch Vixen-style dovetail plate for seamless attachment to mounts. This OTA weighs 20 pounds and 6 ounces, with a clear aperture of 200mm, an OTA length of 27.75 inches, and an outside diameter of 9.5 inches. The MSRP for this model is $628.00.

New line of imaging Newtonian optical tube assembly's (OTA) from iOptron

The 250mm (approximately 10-inch) f/4 Newtonian OTA provides an exceptional imaging experience with a fast F/4 focal ratio and an impressive 1000mm focal length. It features a dual-speed 3.25" Crayford-style focuser with a 1.25" adapter, ready for the optional iEAF focuser. This OTA also includes a BK7 optical glass primary mirror with a protective quartz layer, an 8x50 finder scope, dual split-hinged mounting rings, and a 13-inch Vixen-style dovetail plate. With a total weight of 34 pounds and 1 ounce, it has a clear aperture of 250mm, an OTA length of 32 inches, and an outside diameter of 12 inches. This model is priced at $778.00.

Rounding out the collection is the monster 300mm (approximately 12-inch) f/4 Newtonian OTA, which is ideal for serious astrophotographers who have the mount to carry heavy loads. With a focal length of 1200mm, this model features a dual-speed 3.25" Crayford-style focuser, and like the other models, it is ready for the optional iEAF focuser. The primary mirror is made of BK7 optical glass with a protective quartz layer. This OTA comes with an 8x50 finder scope, dual split-hinged mounting rings, and a 14-inch Losmandy-style dovetail plate for stability and ease of use. Weighing 48 pounds, it has a clear aperture of 300mm, an OTA length of 45.5 inches, and an outside diameter of 14 inches. The MSRP for this impressive model is $998.00.
