The Amateur Astronomers Association (AAA) is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Spring Starfest, set to take place on May 17, 2024. This much-anticipated event will be held at The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM EDT.

Spring Starfest is a celebration of the wonders of the night sky and is open to astronomy enthusiasts of all ages. Admission is free, offering everyone the chance to explore the cosmos through city and nighttime observing sessions. The serene and historic setting of The Evergreens Cemetery, located at 1629 Bushwick Avenue, provides a unique backdrop for stargazing.

Participants can look forward to a variety of observing activities designed to suit both novice and experienced astronomers. Whether you're interested in identifying constellations, spotting planets, or learning more about celestial phenomena, Spring Starfest has something to offer.

In case of inclement weather on May 17, the event has scheduled rain dates for May 18 and June 14. This ensures that attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a clear, starlit night.

Mark your calendars and join the AAA for an evening under the stars at this free community event, where the beauty of the universe aligns with the charm of Brooklyn. For more information, visit the AAA website or contact the event organizers directly.
