The DewMaster2 comes with an external environment sensor

The DewMaster2 offers enhanced functionality for precise dew heater management. Users can connect up to five dew heaters through independent RCA outputs, each powered by high-capacity MOSFET transistors. These transistors support up to 6 Amps per channel, ensuring reliable and efficient performance without significant voltage drops. Automatic control is made possible by PWM adjustments that reduce battery consumption. With intelligent environmental monitoring, the device adjusts heater levels based on real-time humidity, temperature, and dew point data, effectively preventing moisture buildup.

An external temperature and humidity sensor is included, providing accurate environmental readings. Two additional temperature probe inputs allow precise monitoring of optical components. This setup ensures optimal dew prevention while avoiding unnecessary heat that could interfere with image quality. Users can assign these probes to specific outputs for customized control of their equipment.

Easily control the DewMaster2 by connecting directly to its Wi-Fi hotspot

The DewMaster2 features flexible control options through USB-C and Wi-Fi. The USB-C connection offers a stable, low-latency experience, while the Wi-Fi functionality allows users to access the device remotely through smartphones, tablets, or computers. The device supports both Wi-Fi Hotspot and Client modes, enabling direct control or integration into a local network. Users can manage all functions via a web browser interface or ASCOM-compatible imaging software, such as NINA, using ASCOM Alpaca and ASCOM 7 drivers.

The unit is built for durability, housed in an aircraft-grade aluminum enclosure with a blue anodized finish. A 2.1-inch red OLED screen provides high-contrast, lag-free display even in extreme temperatures, preserving night vision with its red film overlay. The three-button interface ensures straightforward navigation and quick adjustments.

Additional features include two 12V DC pass-through outputs for powering auxiliary equipment and integrated power monitoring for real-time oversight of voltage and current consumption. The device also supports mounting with the PEG-SHOE attachment for secure positioning during use. With its robust design and advanced capabilities, the DewMaster2 provides efficient and user-friendly dew management for astronomy setups.
