In 2024, nPAE Precision Astro Engineering Limited is set to host the Northern Hemisphere Astrophotography Competition. Entrants may submit up to 2 new photos of their favorite Northern Hemisphere celestial objects, encompassing Deep Space Objects (DSO), Planetary, Lunar, or Solar images. Submissions must be sent via email to competition@npae.net in bmp or jpg formats, meeting a minimum of 600dpi at 20x20cm. The closing date for entries is February 28, 2024, with the winner unveiling on March 31, 2024.

Prizes include £200 cash for the 1st Prize, an nPAE Theia Astro Imaging Filter Changer for the 2nd Prize, and a £50 nPAE discount voucher for the 3rd Prize. Participants are required to include their name, astro photo title, equipment details, and digital processing methods in their entries. All submitted images must pertain to astronomy objects meeting Northern Hemisphere criteria, and each participant, by submitting an entry, agrees to adhere to the competition rules.

This flexibility arises from the overlap of the geographic and celestial equators, allowing images taken in the North to be submitted to the Southern competition and vice versa.
