AAVSO webinar: Recognizing AAVSO All Stars

Founded in 1911, the AAVSO is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling participation in scientific discovery through the observation and analysis of variable stars. Its activities include:

  • Collecting and archiving variable star data for global accessibility.
  • Building collaborations between amateur and professional astronomers.
  • Promoting research, education, and public outreach using variable star observations.

The organization’s mission is supported by a network of volunteers whose dedication and expertise contribute to advancing knowledge of the night sky. This webinar serves as an opportunity to recognize their impact and share the AAVSO’s appreciation for their ongoing efforts.
